Clustered palm; Stems 1.5 – 2 m tall, covered with persistent dark brown/black fibers maximum DBH ca. 2.5 cm; leaves ca. 12 spirally arranged, entire. Abaxial face silvery white/grey, adaxial face dark green, petiole 65 cm long, leaf length ca. 96 cm, wid.
