Description
Stems climbing, solitary, 8 m tall, 1.5 cm diameter. Sheaths brown tomentose with few, recurved spines; knees prominent; ocreas very short of absent; petioles 40 cm long; rachis 1.2 m long with 25 regularly arranged, linear pinnae per side. Sterile plant.
