Stems solitary, 20 m long, 4.5 cm diameter with sheaths. Sheaths mottled reddish-brown, densely covered with downward-pointing spines; knee present; ocreas very short; petioles 5 cm long; rachis 200 cm long with 36 irregularly arranged pinnae per side; ci.
