Mexico. Guerrero. Municipio de Apango, Tlamamacan, entre Tlamamacan and Mezcala. Located about 100m south of road leading west out of Tlamamacan, aroun 2 km southwest of the village.

Open stony soil of recurrently grazed grassy savannah with little-used footpaths and scattered stands of shrubs and trees, tree canopy cover 0-20%, slope 15º, orientation N. Secondary; transcición ruderal / bosque tropical caducifolio sucesional.

Árbol 5m, DAP 15cm. Bark greenish and broadly peeling, sap perfumed.
