Valley grassland and mixed riparian woodland. With Eriodictyon,
Lupinus, Quercus and Angelica.
Fern; rhizome creeping; leaf blades 10-25cm, ovate, deeply
pinnately lobed; segments serrate; sori in one row on both sides of
segment midribs, 1.5-2mm, round.
