    grows to be about 5-6 ft. tall; named for the unique odor of its leaves; appears to be similiar in shape of leaves and flowers to the Phragmites karka; leaves are linear in shape; flowers appear in cylinderical panicles with an inteminate main axis and cy. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
