  • Description

    Pileus 6 cm broad, dry, plane-uplifted, matted felty to matted subsquamulose, light yellow to grayish yellow (4A4-4B5) (very similar to G. cyanescens), not cyanescent. Flesh white, staining pinkish brown, with mild odor and taste. Hymenophore adnexed to depressed, very pale greenish yellow to pale yellow, slightly bruising pale brownish pink. Stipe 3.5 cm long, 2.5 cm broad, equal and tapered at base, dry, matted to finely matted subfelty with matted squamules at base, white staining brown, with interior pithy, white, with rind staining brown.
