United States of America. California. Monterey Co. To the E. side of Rt. 1, across road from Point Lobos State Reserve.

Habitat
In a semi-open forest, with Briza maxima, Cupressus macrocarpa, Mimulus auraniacus, Quercus agrifolia, Ramalina menziesii & Toxicodendron diversilobum. Locally abundant. on sandy loam (Santa Ynez fine sandy loam, 2 to 9 percent slopes; fine, smectitic, thermic Ultic Palexerolls).

Tree 70 ft tall, trunk diameter 2.5 ft. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
