Mexico. Baja California Sur. Mesa de San Gerrónimo, northerly from Rancho Viejo (on road from Loreto to San Javier).

Habitat
On gentler sloping upper part of north-facing slope between two main peaks at the east end of Mesa de San Gerónimo. With Erythrina flabelliforme, Bursera microphylla, Jatropha vernicosa and Alvordia glomerata.

Description
Scattered shrubs with sevearl to many stems from base, ca. 1-1.75 m. tall; ray and disc flowers yellow; the main flowering season long past, this is a second flowering on only a couple of shrubs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
