Description
Pileus 4.5 cm broad, plano-convex, pink becoming tan, appressed squamose to appressed squamulose, some felt-like patches on disc with sterile veil remnants at margin. Flesh yellow, immediately cyanescent. Tubes adnexed, greenish yellow, quickly cyanescent, with pores red brown and cyanescent. Stipe 5 x 1 cm, slightly curved, dry, pale pink zone at apex, white below and tan to pale orangish tan to pinkish tan just above a white base, fibrillose striate above, scattered subsquamulose near base, with interior white, slowly and slightly staining a pale orangish brown in the base. Spores with narrow ribs lacking cross striae.
