Primary montane rain forest, tierra firme on steep slope.

Description
Tree. Understory tree, solitary. Stem ca. 60 m, thickness 2cm, texture smooth. Crownshaft absent. 3 leaves per stem, sheath closed. Petiole section round, rachis length 80cm. Lamina flat, pinnate, lenght 94 cm, width 60cm. Number of pinnae per side 22. Pinnae insertion regular. Middle pinna length 33cm. Juvenile.
