coarse coastal grasses, one third timber. Drained by
Brazos, San Bernard Rivers, which traverse county.
Loams and coastal clays to uplands, alluvials in low-
lands. One third in timber—pin oak, live oak. mul-
berry, hackberry. ash. elm. cottonwood, pecan; bridge
timbers made from oak. some hardwood exported.
