Mexico. Colima. Mountain summit near pass ca. 11 miles south-southwest of Colima on Manzanillo road.

Habitat
Precipitous rocky slopes and ravines of gypsum and slate, in deciduous woodland with Juliania, Bursera, Cephalocereus, Cyrtocarpa, Cassia. Occasional in clearings.
