    One-ha sample plot in rather tall forest on undulating ground with swampy depressions. Dominance of Pentaclethra macroloba (41% of basal area). Also common: Micropholis crotonoides, Licania affinis and Socrotea.

    Tree, DBH 14.7cm. Fruits orange with up to 4 seeds. Capsule pink inside. Arillus white.
