Habitat
Highly disturbed roadside with brush. Associated with Viguiera dentata, Acacia farnesiana, A. macrantha, Gossypium aridum, Delonyx regia (planted?), and Pithecellobium dulce.

An uncommon 3 m high shrub with a dense rounded crown; fls. yellow, calyx yellow-green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
