Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of the southeast escarpment of Serra de Tepequém in Mun. Amajari, Roraima. Used Google Maps - Earth View to find the southeast escarpment of the mountain; used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of this region. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to find the approximate linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the area that may be considered the southeastern portion of the mountain (in comparison with the longitude of the approximate geographic center of the plateau area). Input coordinates, linear extent (4490.0 m), and measurement error (50 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Defined Area).
