Habitat
Semi-evergreen forest on undulating limestone hills, canopy 30-35m, emergents 40-45m (Terminalia amazonia, Manilkara zapota). Area harvested for mahogany and chicle in past, otherwise undisturbed. Exposed limestone, common on hills and along streams.
