Woody shrub; perennial, 70cm; old bark grey, young stems buff; flower yellow, in solitary daisy-heads, at tips of short shoots; seeds creamy-buff pappus; leaves strap-shaped, leathery, in bunches or opposite on short shoots, pale green. Common, native.
