Herb; leaves bland, not peppery tasting; spikes erect, pink; open flowers pink; plants forming a dense colony here 2 × 2 m; this specimen from the center of the patch, plants smaller toward the edge (See Atha 8500, 8501). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
