Soft sandy soil supporting Artemisia - Purshia scrub with Symphoricarpos rotundifolia, Castilleja lineariifolia, Eriogonum umbellatum, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Monardella odoratissima, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus. Occasional.
