    Under thin shade of Acer negundo, Juglans nigra, weedy area with Polygonum virginianum, Eupatorium rugosum. At Bedford Park Boulevard and Metro North train tracks. Seems to be increasing in recent years.

    Herb. Large patch of herbaceous stems, to 2 m tall. All in fruit now, and only a very few with flowers; rays yellow; disc flowers yellow with black anthers. Phenology of specimen: Flower and Fruit.
