On mud banks just above water level. Perennial creek cutting through fine decomposed pumice soil. Heavily grazed upland vegetation with Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus nauseosus. Streamside with Rosa woodsii, Salix lutea, Distichlis spicata, Senecio Hydrophilis, Carex nebrascensis, Hordeum jabatum, Juncus. Occasioanl.
