  • Habitat

    On steep east-facing slopes in bristlecone pine-mountain mahogany forest. Common. Black humus-rich soil, pH ca. 6.7.

  • Description

    Corollas scarlet, some violet-tinged, pendent, limb ± unequal, adaxial lip longer; anthers tan, abaxial pair and style/stigma exserted. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
