Collection Notes
Additional collection information (not on the label) provided by Jason A. Alexander (Utah Valley University), 2013. Additional comments by J. A. Alexander: "Palmer collected only a single specimen of Verbena. Gray Identified this collection, Palmer 401, as Verbena bracteosa. From the online image, I can verify that this is Palmer 401 and has been determined by an authority as Verbena bracteata. It is one of the first (if not the very first) collection of this weed from Washington Co., Utah."
