Description
Woody vine, only a few leaves left on tips of a few branches. Fruit dark green at pedicel end, mottled, then mostly greenish white at style end, globose, turning orange, the largest 4 cm. in diam., the flesh of the wall orange, the seeds surrounded by gelatinous orange-red pulp with little taste, neither bitter nor sweet, the pulp red in green fruits, the fruit wall turning orange the same time the outside does; seeds apparently always white. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
