Description
Tree 20 m. tall, 30 cm. in diam.; bark tan, shallowly flaking; trunk deeply fluted and anastomosing, with some holes completely through. sap milky. Fruit yellow-green, 1 or 2 together.

Mun. Costa Marques, 2 km. W of Rio Cautarinho, along hwy. BR 429. 12°04’S, 63°28'W; elevation: 200 m. Tree 20 m. tall, 30 cm. in diam.; bark tan, shal- lowly flaking; trunk deeply fluted and anastamosing, with some holes completely through; this seems to be the tree used for telephone poles in Ariquemes. Sap milky. Fruit yellow-green, 1 or 2 together. Coll.: M.
