White tuffaceous badlands; on light flaky and whitish in color with some siltstone gravel. With Atriplex confertifolia.

Description
Loosely caespitose perennial caudex exposed, leaves erect obovate to orbicular, margins plane; inflorescence capitate on glabrous scapes to 3.5 dm high, perianth yellow, glabrous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
