On exposed top of small butte, soil igneous rock, thin, sparsely vegetated.

Description
Caespitose perennial up to 1 dm high, leaves erect, spatulate to oblanceolate, ± plane, inflorescence capitate on pubescent scape 3-6 cm high, no flowers present. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
