  • Description

    Pileus 5-7.5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, coarsely matted squamose, buff to pale ochraceous buff with some scattered very light pink tones, with yellow to pale yellow between squamae, with sterile margin extending over hymenophore, eventually tearing into triangular flaps and eventually evanescent. Flesh yellow, immediately cyanescent. Tubes deeply adnexed, yellow, cyanescent, with pores yellow at first, becoming light reddish brown with age, cyanescent. Stipe 8-10 cm long, 1-1.5 cm broad, curved to strict, equal with bulbous base, dry, fibrillose, white nearly overall, with some yellow or rarely pale red at apex, white at base, staining pinkish or pale brownish orange, with interior white, staining pale brownish orange.
