    Loosely caespitose perennial, mats to 2 dm across, basal leaves broadly oblanceolate to elliptoc, inflorescence capitate, 1 cm, on tomentose scapes to 7 cm, perianth yellow, glabrous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
