    Low loosely pulvinate perennial. Forming mats up to 4 dm across, leaves elliptic to obovate, tomentose, inflorescence densely capitate on glandular scapes 3-8 cm high, involucres rigid, pubescent, tepals bright yellow glabrous monomorphic. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
