    Alpine slopes. Growing with Astragalus, Phlox, and Erigeron. Soil of dolomitic gravel and bedrock weathering to fine brown limy sand.

  • Description

    Low pulvinate perennial, leaves erect, slightly revolute obovate, inflorescence densely capitate on glandular scapes up to 7 cm high, tepals glandular ranging from white to deep pink-red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
