Beni, Bolivia, from a small muddy overflow pond, on the
bank of the Rio Mamore, ca. li> miles due west of Trinidad.

Collector: Vernon W. Proctor	August 1961

This specimen is from one of the 18 clones which were
obtained from Vernon ¥. Proctor's collection (Texas Tech
University, Lubbock) and were studied by Robert F. McGuire
(University of Tennessee, Knoxville) in a numerical
taxonomic study (1970-71). All voucher specimens were
cultured in a greenhouse at Lubbock, Texas, during the
spring and summer of 1970 in a medium of soil and tap
