Habitat
Moist cloud forest with continous tradewinds, dominated by Magnolia pallescens and Schefflera tremula. Highly disturbed forest, dense and difficult to walk. Large areas covered with Gleichenia and Arthrostylidium/Chusquea?.

Description
Erect sub-shrub 40 cm tall with pseudodichotomous branching; leaves rusty brown abaxially; calyx green; petals white; fruit black, shiny, fleshy, subglobose. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
