"Estrada do Mindu" is presently known as Avenida Darcy Vargas, which explains the difficulty in finding "Estrada do Mindu." Georeferenced to the approximate geographic midpoint of Avenida Darcy Vargas in the city of Manaus, Amazonas. Used the reference material, Bing Maps, and Google Maps - Earth View to locate road Av. Darcy Vargas. On Google Maps, used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line between the beginning (intersection of Av. Darcy Vargas, Av. Dom Pedro I, and R. Jacira Reis) and end (intersection of Av. Darcy Vargas and Av. Efigênio Salles) of Av. Darcy Vargas, then halved this distance to find the midpoint of this line. Chose a point along Avenida Darcy Vargas closest to the midpoint of the line; used Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the midpoint of this road. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of Av. Darcy Vargas. Input coordinates, linear extent (1240.0 m), and measurement error (2.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
