Description
Terrestrial or epiphytic shrub mainly from one stem which may be 5 cm in diameter and to 3 m tall. Inflorescence pendent at anthesis; rhachis and pedicels pale yellowish-green; floral bracts and bracteoles pale yellowish-green suffused with red at the very base; calyx tube dark green, limb and lobes pale yellowish-green suffused with red; corolla carnose, dark pinkish-red with lobes purplish-black within, filaments and anthers golden-yellow; connective white; fruits turning purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
