Nett Municipality: Dalen village, farm of Yustina David. 06°57\043"N, 158°H\529"E. Nansapw -secondary forest with trees to 40-50m tall. Tree to 20m tall, dbh 30cm; stem with white sap when cut. Sterile. N.V. Mahi sarek [Pohnpeian] breadfruit and the type petioles Earache, Use only this cultivar for this medicine. Take 1" of the base of the leaf stem, use 2 of these pieces and 4 shoots of "Ilau" (MB 4181). Pound them together then put in cloth with cooked coconut oil. Squeeze into ear - use till pain goes away - 4 days. Informants: Robert David, Pohnpei, male, 45 years old; Katarina Tom, Pohnpei, female, 39 years old. She was chosen to learn in the family, taught by grandfather, Sohnis Ihda. M. J.
