    Sun, dry southwest slope, ridge. Arid-transition-Pseudotsuga, Garrya, Cercocarpus. Thousands. Limestone rock.

  • Description

    Tree 24 ft., spread 16 ft., diameter 13 inches at ground. This is a characteristic medium-sized tree with a dusty gray-green foliage. The main trunk has a somewhat "alligatore-like" bark, which is very dark, almost black. The branches are cherry-barked. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
