In floor of canyon. With Pinus edulis, Juniperus utahensis, Rhus ovata, Quercus dumosa, Opuntia and Arctostaphylos pungens.

Description
Tree 7-8 m. tall, foliage blue-green, fruits gray. Bark on young trees (and branches of old trees) peeling off leaving a smooth surface. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
