Habitat
Sun, dry slopes, ravines. Upper Sonoran: pinyons, junipers. Dominant. Red sandstone.

Description
Tree 45 ft., spread 18 ft., trunk diameter 20 inches. This tree gray-green in aspect, but some trees especially small ones, are blue-green. Lots of seedlings here. Bark gray on surface, but peeling off leaving red surface beneath. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
