Description
Tree 18 ft., spread 12 ft., trunk diameter 12 inches at ground. This collection was made from a lone tree, According to Ranger Stephenson of Descanso, there is a considerable area back up the mountain. I was unable to reach the "grove" because of unsettled weather and poor visibility, as well as lack of trails. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
