Sinaloan thornscrub, sandy soil, level area. Associated with Fouqueria macdougali, Ziziphus amole, Stenocereus alamosanus, & Lyciun sp. Readily encaountered but not abundant.

Description
Thorny shrub 2.5 m. with creamy white flowers, reddish calyces and petioles. Leaves bright green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
