Habitat
Growing under Quercus species. Probably a type of Calliandra grandiflora as demonstrated by the clinal variation in plant form up the mountains.

Description
1-2 m. very slender bush. Brown stems with pale brown lenticels. Very slender tiny blue green leaves. Petioles red. Flowers heads vertically held but drooping at the tip. Extremely slender and glabrous. Sepals light green. Petals pale yellow green. Buds blue green. Flowers opening opening at 10:30 hrs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
