Habitat
Limestone mogote on north side of road; mature forest with well developed canopy and sparse understory. Growing with Krugiodendron, Coccoloba, Eugenia, Guapira, Sideroxylon, Oeceoclades, Erythroxylum.

Tree 8 m tall; bark thin and grey.
