Brazil. Rondônia. Guajará-Mirim Mun. Rocky tops and slopes of westermost hill of Serra Pacaas Novos (with Embratel antennas), on precambrian sandstone. Scattered short to medium trees, mostly grassy, disturbed and burned, appearing natural campo, but artificially maintained from scrubby forest, most of the species seem native to the hill. Mun. Guajara Mirim, 5 km. NE of Guajara Mirim.
