    Arid low rock hills W of river, 0.5-1 km E of Hwy 125; grazed desert to open crassicaulis matorral, dominated by Cephalocereus hoppenstedtii and spiny mimosoid legumes, with Yucca periculosa, Beaucarnea gracilis, Achtinocheita filicina, etc. Common along dirt mining road.
