Description
Small tree 3-4 m. with huige erect, finger-like racemes. Brown bark with lighter lenticels. Little hair on shoots. Flowers with brown yellow calyx and infolded mid brown petals. Long red staminal filaments and even longer (7. 5 cm) pale style. Leaves waxy dark green above, paler beneath with noticably off-centre vein. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
