Steep volcanic slopes and flats, natural vegetation humid montane forest intergrading ti tropical dry forest. Clay soils. Uncommon.

Description
Fls. mostly past anthesis, whithish.; Arbol: tree; 15 m high; Bark dark. High branched with a rounded crown, lowest foliage ca. 8 m above ground. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
