COAHUILA: Low places along the highway in Larrea associa-
tion, 1£ miles south of San Lazaro, and about 60 miles
south of Monclova. Elevation about 3U00 feet.
Freely branched shrubs 5-15 dm. tall. Heads yellow, with
about 13-21 rays. Pappas none. Ray achenes sterile.
