Description
Small tree 25 cm. diameter, near stairs in front of Museum Building; bark dark brown, scaly. In full bloom; flowers with faint fragrance; calyx dull red; petals white with rose tinge at base and especially in bud; filaments first white, then pink; anthers yellow; stigma yellow-green.
